Welcome to the home page of the Self Assembly collaboration between the Chemistry Departments at the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Birmingham. The research is funded by an EPSRC Programme Grant and its goals include:

• Developing design rules for self assembly of complex structures from simple building blocks
• Developing new computational methods for global optimisation and rare events
• Devising coarse-grained descriptions of self-assembling systems
